Alix – RN, BSN

 

Alix graduated from Wabash Valley College with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (RN) in 2006.

Received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville in 2008.

 

Worked on the Medical/Surgical Unit at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville 2006-2007. Worked on the Pediatric/PICU/NICU at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville 2007-2010.

 

Joined Dr. Manley in April 2010.

When asked: What aspect of working at the Evansville Regional Vein Center do you find the most rewarding?

 

Alix responded: “As a registered nurse, I feel privileged to be able to get to know my patients and build relationships with them during their vein procedures and multiple visits with us. They become familiar faces and almost become like family instead of just a “patient.”
