When I came to Evansville Regional Vein Center I was having a lot of pain in my legs and they felt really heavy and tired. My legs made me feel very uncomfortable when I sat at my desk for long periods at work.
Everyone at ERVC was very welcoming, helpful and professional. The ultrasound took a long time but the technician was very informative and explained a lot to me about how my veins worked. Dr. Manley was very thorough and he took the time to explain everything to me. He explained how the veins work and he told me exactly what I had going on. I felt like he really cared about the problems I was having. He was with me for about an hour.
The treatments were not difficult. They were really short and they were not painful. The staff was very helpful and calming throughout everything. They were very nice to work with.
It’s now six months since my treatments and my legs feel great. All of my bulging veins are gone and I have no pain and no heaviness. The difference is like night and day. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Manley to anyone with vein problems.
I cannot explain to you how frustrated I was. For probably the last ten to twelve years I have been going from facility to facility trying to have my problems taken care of. Finally, a doctor in Vincennes referred me to Dr. Manley.
From the moment I walked into the office I felt like we were real friends. Everyone was very professional and courteous and they made me feel very comfortable. I love this facility!
I was having many problems with my legs and my doctors could not figure it out. My number one problem was restless leg at night or when I would sit down. My left leg was worse than the right. I had leg heaviness and on long trips I had to get out and walk frequently. I also had burning and tingling sensations. My problems got to the point that they dictated my day-to-day life, what I did and how long I did it.
I was also having psychological problems with my vein condition. Without trying to sound like a vain person, I had not worn shorts above my knees in I can’t tell you how long. Even on vacations, it would be swim suits with a skirt. Now that the bulging veins on my legs are gone, it is really going to be life changing for me, I’m certain of it.
The procedures were not bad at all. The treatments that I had were laser closures, microphlebectomies and sclerotherapy. I did not take anything for my nerves, no Valium or anything. There were maybe a couple of times that I felt a pinch to the skin, but I was never uncomfortable during the procedures. I never even had to take an ibuprofen after the treatments.
I now have no pain or any of the symptoms I had before in my legs. The way my legs look is unbelievable. I am going to use the term life changing probably too many times, but I now go to sleep at night and I took a vacation with a long car ride with no problems at all. The change is just unbelievable.
I would absolutely recommend Evansville Regional Vein Center to anyone with vein problems. My friends are probably tired of hearing me talk about it. But I mean it, it is really a life changing thing for me!

I was having pain, swelling and general discomfort constantly. It got to the point where my legs were starting to keep me awake at night. I went to my family doctor about it and he sent me to another facility. I did not feel like I was getting good advice and I decided that I needed to go somewhere else.
I heard about Evansville Regional Vein Center when I saw Dr. Manley on Midday with Mike. I also had some friends advise me to see Dr. Manley, so I made an appointment. When I came for my first appointment I knew I was in the right place because the staff treated me like a person, like I was part of the family.
Everyone was so nice and sweet and everyone was practically bending over backwards to make sure everything was going okay. Everything was explained to me perfectly. My treatments were no problem at all. I had one laser ablation, one microphlebectomy and one session of ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy. I really had no pain and the results were amazing. All of my symptoms are gone and my legs feel great.
All of my treatments were covered fully by my insurance. Dr. Manley thought I would need 2 or 3 ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy sessions to finish my treatments but he got it done in only one. My insurance had approved 99 sessions of ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy if I needed them, but Dr. Manley got me done in only one!
I have recommended Evansville Regional Vein Center to many of my friends and I even went back to my family doctor and recommended that he send all of his vein patients here.
When I was 40 or 41-years-old, I had blood clots on my left leg. I had four major blood clots in the deep veins. I suffered terrible pain for 31 to 32 years. I had to drag my left leg because it would hardly work and I could hardly walk on it. It finally got so bad, my doctor sent me to Evansville Regional Vein Center to see Dr. Manley.
I have had several procedures at Evansville Regional Vein Center. It has been truly worth everything. There was no pain, hardly at all. I am scared of needles, so that was what my worst problem was. The rest of it was fine. I have not had any pain since the first or second procedure. I am doing great, and to me, it is a miracle not to have to suffer the pain like I did. I appreciate Dr. Manley very much!

After my first pregnancy, I noticed my leg was starting to swell and I had bulging varicose veins. Once I had my son, my leg continued to remain swollen and after my second pregnancy, my leg was worse. I had tenderness, pain, itchiness and my legs just looked a lot different than the other one. I was very insecure; I would not wear shorts or dresses. I even had people ask me what was wrong with my leg because of the discoloration and the swelling. It was hard to explain that there was no injury; it was just how my leg was from the issues with the varicose veins.
After going to Evansville Regional Vein Center and being treated by Dr. Manley, my leg is now not swollen. It is back to normal and it feels so much better. I am a runner, and my legs do not ache after I run. I am also very active and do other workouts. It has made a huge difference on recovering from a run or work out; my leg does not feel as tired anymore. I wish I would have looked for treatment years ago instead of dealing with four years of the pain and insecurity.
My experience at ERVC was very pleasant. The staff and Dr. Manley are all very nice. I was treated well. The procedures were easy and painless. It is just amazing to me that after four years of having these issues that just in a matter of a couple of months, I have a leg that looks normal again. I highly recommend this to any individual who is around my age that is starting to notice issues with their veins.
